van
The effect on a believer from continued exposure to God's presence is regular time meditating on Him, singing to Him, listening to Him, speaking to Him, obeying Him and drinking Him through the Word and Spirit. Many believers remain infants because they are not spending enough time in God's presence. If you are constantly thinking of things of the world instead of focusing on spending more time in God's presences you will remain a infant. Deep exposure with God transforms a person because He or she is spending constant time in God's presence.
PADODD
Q2. (2 Corinthians 3:18) What is the effect on a believer from continued exposure to God’s presence? The effect on a believer from continued exposure to God's presence is regular time meditating on Him, praising and worshipping to Him, listening to Him, speaking to Him, obeying Him. Why do many believers remain spiritual infants? We are not spending enough time in God's presence. If you are constantly thinking/doing of things of the world instead of focusing on spending more time in God's presences you will remain a infant. Why does deep exposure to God transform a person? As you spend time with God you will receive the opportunity to transform your ways and thoughts because in the that transforming time period God has total control of your and His arms are wrapped around you. hanks
Q2. (2 Corinthians 3:18) What is the effect on a believer from continued exposure to God's presence? Why do many believers remain spiritual infants? Why does deep exposure to God transform a person? As a believer, continued exposure to God’s presence changes us to become more and more like our Lord Jesus Christ, and we find that by the grace of God, we can now live under the power of the Holy Spirit instead of under our sinful human nature. Before we were self-sufficient and proud, and we thought we could achieve everything by our own effort, but as we mature, we begin to understand that we are incapable of living the Christian life in our own strength. Why do many believers remain spiritual infants? I think that instead of focusing on Christ we focus on our self, and we seem to have an arrogance or even an over-estimation of our own self. To explain why some believers do not spiritually mature, I’m reminded of the parable of the sower in Matthew 13. The seeds that fell along the road – are people who hear the message about the kingdom, but do not understand it, and Satan snatches the message from their hearts. The seeds that fell on rocky ground - are the people who gladly hear the message and accept it right away, but they don't have deep roots, and they don't last very long. As soon as life gets hard or they get into trouble, they give up. The seeds that fell among the thorn-bushes - are also people who hear the message, but they start worrying about the needs of this life and are fooled by the desire to get rich. So the message gets choked out, and they never produce anything. However, the seeds that fell on good ground - are the people who hear and understand the message, and they are the ones that produce as much as a hundred or sixty or thirty times what was planted. Deep exposure to God transforms us into His image. God is light and in Him there is no darkness at all. He is absolutely holy, absolutely righteous, and absolutely pure. Light and darkness cannot coexist, so in order for us to walk day by day in fellowship with God, there can be no hiding of sin. With deep exposure His inherited glory shines onto us transforming us into the likeness of His Son our Lord Jesus, and it is through His redeeming work on the cross that we have victory over sin and death. It is no longer sin that dominates our lives. Exposure to His Word by continued study and meditation, results in spiritual maturity. Since we also abide in Christ and He abides in us, it is His life-giving power that is expressed through us that enables us to a live a life that glorifies Him. rosegarden
On 12/16/2016 at 2:43 PM, Pastor Ralph said: Q2. (2 Corinthians 3:18) What is the effect on a believer from continued exposure to God’s presence? Why do many believers remain spiritual infants? Why does deep exposure to God transform a person? As a result of spending time in God's presence we are being transformed and conformed to the image of His Son. This change is sanctification, the gradual process of becoming holy and godly in our character, becoming more like Him. Many believers remain spiritual infants because they are caught up in the things of this world and not in chasing after God and all the promises in His Word. Deep exposure causes a person to walk in the Spirit and to grow in the Lord.
Eilen
A believer begins to feel, taste, realize the reality of God more directly, more intimately, more effectively. It is the heightening of God’s reality in the believer’s life. The believer comes to experience God’s divine order, he becomes sanctified. Many believers remain spiritual infants because they have not matured in the Lord. Just as an infant needs proper nourishment to grow, a believer needs spiritual nourishment to grow in Christ. Some Christian believers remain carnal and selfish. Many have a great lack of knowledge and understanding of the Word of God. Many believers do not spend time studying the bible so how can they grow spiritually and spread the Word of God? Deep exposure to God helps a person to begin to experience God’s divine order. It helps them to grasp the power of the Holy Spirit. Such an individual becomes more sanctified, more Christ like. He allows God to take control of his life. He is able to be molded to God’s will as he is filled with the Holy Spirit.
JanMary
On 12/16/2016 at 11:43 AM, Pastor Ralph said: wQ2. (2 Corinthians 3:18) What is the effect on a believer from continued exposure to God’s presence? Why do many believers remain spiritual infants? Why does deep exposure to God transform a person? A. As we behold Him in the Word of God, (a mirror to reflect who and how we are and Who He is that we are to become and reflect) we are constantly being transfigured or transformed into His very own image in ever increasing splendor and from one degree of glory to another. (Amplified version) He changes us from the inside out...changes our "want to" and replaces gradually our hearts of stone to hearts of flesh...tasked with being His love letter to an unsaved world as well as to those in our lives. B. It's possible that there wasn't a true conversion...just a "check mark in the box" in order to go to Heaven, but with no desire to surrender to the Lordship of Jesus and to allow Him to be in charge of ones life. Nicodemus "believed in Jesus" and believed in God, knew the Torah, fasted, tithed, and lived a holy life...but that wasn't enough. He came to Jesus and asked what do I need to do to be saved? When he was truly born again, he risked losing everything he had lived for and known....risked death, reputation, losing "church connections" friends, and possibly family, in identifying completely with Jesus in rebirth. True growth requires surrender to Jesus, which involves giving up our "rights", and not just taking Him along as a friendly passenger as we pursue our own agenda and life. C. This made me think of how when a duckling hatches it thinks whatever creature it sees first is its' mother. The duckling beholds with his eyes and begins to follow the cat or the dog or the chicken and to behave as they do. Hopefully the mother is its first sight, or he'll be a mixed up little duckling! Jesus IS the Word of God, so as we read and absorb and apply what He is saying, we begin to think like He thinks and to eventually behave as Jesus did, with kindness and love, honesty and integrity, with wisdom and understanding and godliness always honoring His Father. Valteenia
We received the glow from being in his presence. We move from just been a hearer but a doer and we are being transform to his image. Babe stay on milk because they refuse spend time with god so that they don't received their discipline that we need. It is also like the different seed that fall on different ground (some don't have any roots or the devil steal it soon as they received it. Some look for riches and material things instead of seeking for Jesus. Deep exposure help transform us to his image and stop feeding the flesh.,
Debra Grant
Q2. (2 Corinthians 3:18) What is the effect on a believer from continued exposure to God's presence? Why do many believers remain spiritual infants? Why does deep exposure to God transform a person? 1. The believer will receive glorious victory, joy, strength, and grow stronger in God. 2. We must live by the Spirit and do not gratify the desires of the flesh which will keep us as a spiritual infant. When we sow to our own flesh, we reap corruption from the flesh. Not reading God’s word and praying will keep us as a spiritual infant. 3. "We all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. When we have deep exposure to God, we learn how to be humble, talk, and put on the character and ways of God.

DawnMc13
To be continuously exposed to God's presence will transfer his glory onto us, as it happened to Moses...rubbing off onto him. Many believers, who do not spend regular daily time with God do not have His glory change them from glory to glory, but stay stuck in the mud of where they are at. Come close to God, and God will come close to you. Wash your hands you sinners, and purify your hearts, for your loyalty is divided between God and the world. -James 4:8 Again, as God comes close to us His glory rubs off on us, changing us so that His light is seen through us by others. Stanley Tavaziva
Q2. (2 Corinthians 3:18) What is the effect on a believer from continued exposure to God's presence? Why do many believers remain spiritual infants? Why does deep exposure to God transform a person? The glory that the Spirit imparts to the us believers is more excellent and lasts longer than the glory that Moses experienced. By gazing at the nature of God with unveiled minds, we can be more like him. In the Good News, we see the truth about Christ, and it transforms us morally as we understand and apply it. Through learning about Christ’s life, we can understand how wonderful God is and what he is really like. As our knowledge deepens, the Holy Spirit helps us to change. Becoming Christlike is a progressive experience. The more closely we follow Christ, the more we will be like him.
Stanley Tavaziva
Q3. (2 Corinthians 4:16-18) In what way do our "light, momentary afflictions" achieve for us an "eternal weight of glory"? Suffering can make a person bitter or better. How can suffering work God's character in your life? It is easy to lose heart and quit. We all have faced problems in our relationships or in our work that have caused us to think about giving up. Rather than quitting when persecution wore him down, Paul concentrated on the inner strength that came from the Holy Spirit. We should not let fatigue, pain, or criticism force you off the job. Renew your commitment to serving Christ. Don’t forsake your eternal reward because of the intensity of today’s pain. Your very weakness allows the resurrection power of Christ to strengthen you moment by moment. Our troubles should not diminish our faith or disillusion us. We should realize that there is a purpose in our suffering. Problems and human limitations have several benefits: (1) They remind us of Christ’s suffering for us; (2) they keep us from pride; (3) they cause us to look beyond this brief life; (4) they give us opportunities to prove our faith to others; and (5) they give God the opportunity to demonstrate his power. See your troubles as opportunities! Our ultimate hope when we are experiencing terrible illness, persecution, or pain is the realization that this life is not all there is—there is life after death! Knowing that we will live forever with God in a place without sin and suffering can help us live above the pain that we face in this life. Ganti Vivek
With continued exposere to the presence of God one can see that they will go to church regularly and transform themselves by utilising the time in worshiping, praising, meditating, singing to him, speaking to him through prayers and listing to him through his word and obeying him, drinking the word and the spirit, so as we spend time with Lord it will change us, like Moses spendt time before the Lord and was transformed. Many believers still are in the spiritual infanncy because they do not live by the word of God, for attending sake they attend the Chruch and listen the word, but will not walk according to it and remain where ever there are, without spiritual growth in their life. Deep exposere to God power transforms a persons spiritual life to be in the likeness of Jesus, that is to humble oneself and follow what Jesus gave the two laws that to Keep God our father above all and to love thy neighbour, and always be forgiving, this makes one holy and the holy spirit will transform our life, which people can see in you the change and the glow and acknowledge that this person is in Jesus. Old Jerry
The effect on a believer from continued exposure to God’s presence is that they will change. They will try to be more like God and try to please Him. I don’t know why believers remain spiritual infants, maybe they are not believing what they are reading or maybe they don’t read and study the Bible as often as they should. The deep exposure to God transforms a person because we can see what He is like and we want to be like Him.
Annie343
EFFECT OF CONTINUED EXPOSURE TO GOD'S PRESENCE: hope, joy, glory, holiness, knowing Him and being changed; take on the image of God; desire to experience God (having an encounter); can see your will aligning with God's purpose; being yielded to Him; evidence of being more loving and the use of spiritual gifts; desiring more of Him; beholding His glory REMAINING SPIRITUAL INFANTS: not actively seeking to have a relationship with the Lord; no drive or hunger for the Lord and His will; being distracted by the enemy's seeking to please self rather than God; catering to passions, lusts and worldly pursuits TRANSFORMATION: progressive process of sanctifying a person; being with the Lord wanting to obey and to keep His standard of holiness as well as the motive of life - focused on the Lord; being full of the Word (spiritual disciplines) and the Holy Spirit's work; desire to be changed with looking toward the Lord concerning conduct and character
Ms. Joanne
On 12/16/2016 at 11:43 AM, Pastor Ralph said: Q2. (2 Corinthians 3:18) What is the effect on a believer from continued exposure to God’s presence? Why do many believers remain spiritual infants? Why does deep exposure to God transform a person? To begin with I am going to answer questions backwards. Many believers remain spiritual infants, because they do not take the time to communion with God. While they have knowledge of who Christ is, they have not learned the deeper meaning of being a believer. Of worshipping Him, by studying his word. When we have exposure to God's presence we are continually renewed I. Our life. We have hope of better things to change e, we have faith that all things will work out. By continually going to God in worship and and study we will get to know his ways and thoughts and we will continue to strive to be like Jesus. Paul Irving
On 12/16/2016 at 1:43 PM, Pastor Ralph said: Q2. (2 Corinthians 3:18) What is the effect on a believer from continued exposure to God’s presence? Why do many believers remain spiritual infants? Why does deep exposure to God transform a person? The Holy Ghost leads us in the direction God wants us to go in. The true believer will grow in faith with more and more exposure to God’s presence. God wants His children to grow in faith in Him, and He helps us grow constantly if the believer has the desire to grow. Many believers remain spiritual infants because they put limits on God, I see it every day. Like someone with a disease that generally can’t be treated by doctors, that person will be like “Oh, I’ll never get better”, nonsense God could heal them instantly if they only had the faith. There is a woman in my Church who has a disease of the lungs, I asked her what’s your name I’m going to pray for you. She told me Deborah, and stated that she will always be sick, no, no, no that’s lack of faith Jesus Christ could heal her instantly with His mighty healing power. When we get deep exposure to God we grow in faith in Him, and He gives us all power over the enemy the devil. Like in Malachi 4:1-6, I won’t write the whole verses but paraphrase. God says to those who fear my name you shall grow up as calves of the stall, and you shall tread down the wicked for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I do this saith the Lord of hosts. You can never get enough of God if you really love Him and His promises.
Zanele Tlhakanelo
The effects on a believer are embodied when the fruit of the Spirit are manifest in an individual. Being continually exposed to God's presence assists the believer to know that heart of God. It is always important to understand that one cannot grow spiritually if one is always feeding on fluids but need solid food and being rooted in the Word of God can expose the believer to be always in God's presence. As indicated above, they feed of fluids because they do not give themselves time to know who God is. They rely on what they here from the pulpits but do not themselves read the Word of God and tell God that they want to know Him better. At times people say married couples tend to look alike. When we spend quality time with God and read the Word, we end up being transformed into the image of God. You cannot expect to know God if your interaction with Him is when you face challenges and want to ran to Him. God is more than a Father to us who understands our weaknesses as well and when we spend time with Him, we know that He has the best interest for our lives.
