George L
Q2. (2 Corinthians 4:3-4; John 8:44) What are Satan's chief tools to keep people under his control? Deception. Minding people to truth. Lies, partial truths. Why is the sharing and preaching of the gospel so threatening to him (John 8:31-32; Romans 1:16)? It steals a soul from his kingdom. And it adds another voice with testimony of salvation and the blood of the lamb to the army against him. Why do you think it is so difficult to share your faith or preach in the world outside the church? We have been conditioned to avoid offending people. Failing to realize like a doctor it is a most devistating lie to tell a sick person they are fine. Salvation is forever important. If we will offer our salvation message and questions in a gentle offering of help and assistance we are offering, not demanding. We are holding out a hope, not invading their territory. We should not look at the sinner as a conquest but a retrieval of a soul stuck in the mire. They need to know they do not get to save themselves from Satan’s tar pit. They need The Savior as did all the saved before them. They may turn away from help, allow them. But they know someone cared Enough to offer help. Seed planted. Amen. Well done faithful servant.
