Why does the Lord show Gideon this dream? Gideon will overthrow the Midianites. To help him because he is so fearful of attacking the Midianites. To increase his faith. Quote
Jonathan Edwards Posted May 16, 2021 Report Posted May 16, 2021 Rolling barley loaf meant the sword of Gideon would have the victory over the enemy. He worshipped the true God when he heard about this dream. It was truly a confirmation of God's favor. It was so real to Gideon that it gave him the get up and go to start delivering his people. Irmela Posted April 3, 2023 Report Posted April 3, 2023 Q6. (Judges 7:13-14) What does the rolling barley loaf mean in the Midianite's dream? Why does the Lord show Gideon this dream? The rolling barley loaf is Gideon's sword. This dream and the interpretation given, is shown to Gideon to encourage him, just before the battle Quote
ShariRose Posted December 21, 2024 Report Posted December 21, 2024 The rolling barley loaf was Gideon's sword. God was showing Gideon that he would conquer the Midians. He delivered the Midianites to Gideon. Quote
