glory
I BELIEVE WE CAN USE LOVE, WISDOM FROM ABOVE AND THE WORDS OF OUR MOUTH TO SOW PEACE INTO THE LIVES OF OTHERS.IF WE ARE SENSITIVE TO THE VOICE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT WE CAN HAVE PEACE IN OUR RELATIONSHIPS DAILY INSTEAD OF STRIFE AND CONFUSION. THIS PRODUCES A RIPENING CROP OF RIGHTEOUSNESS BECAUSE WE ARE DOING IT OF OF LOVE AND NOT SELFISHNESS. WE ARE CHOOSING TO WAIT ON GOD FOR HIS WISDOM WHICH IS PURE, PEACEABLE, GENTLE, FULL OF MERCY AND WITHOUT HYPOCRISY.WE'RE USING GOD'S INSIGHT AND NOT OURS. THIS CROP GROWS IN US AND THOSE AROUND US ARE INFLUENCED BT IT........GOD BLESS....

bobbie4
Peacemakers use the tool of "common ground". That being that we are all made by one Creator and are controlled by that one Creator. If we were truly all of one body and Spirit we would strive to live the life that God has called us to, a life of holiness (wholeness in Him). If there is strife and envy among the brethren then God's love can not manifest among the body. We must surrender to God's will and not our own so that we can all function within the body as we must. JustJeff
The only tool that can sow shalom is the love of God shed abroad by the Holy Ghost. It is this love that grows within believers that produces righteousness by conquering sin, specifically, self.
Jeannie
The only tool that can make peace is the Love of Christ in our hearts that others may see. When we show the Love of Christ to all that we come into contact with (believer or non-believer) it will make them thristy to want more. Also it softens our hearts when we let this love come into it. Those who grow in this will be ourselfs and those that we meet.
plethra
Peace is one of the fruits of the Spirit. So I believe the #1 tool, after salvation of course, is the Holy Spirit of God. This will work hand in hand with love and joy which are more fruits of the Spirit. Our reward for being a peace maker is to enjoy that peace. Dwell with all men in peace as much as is possible. We must put forth every effort to bring about peace which again goes to humilty - putting others needs ahead of our own.
Jewell
Peacemakers sow peace with love and understanding, learning to walk in another's shoes, hear what they say, feel what they feel. It's the pay-it-forward idea. When someone does something in love, we repay it forward to another and another. The crop grows in each of us. In whom does this crop grow? Peacemakers sow with the fruit of the Holy Spirit, Love. Love produces this kind of ripening crop of righteousness because kind breeds kind. In whom does this crop grow? It is with heavenly wisdom, which is a free gift of a gracious God, that peacemakers sow peace. C Riv
Q4. (3:17-18) With what tool do peacemakers sow peace? Why does this produce a ripening crop of righteousness? In whom does this crop grow? The tool is wisdom which is from above. Wisdom from God is full of peace, love, hope, and is pure, full of mercy and good fruits. It being pure is free from defilement, bitterness, envy, and all selfish motives. This tool wisdom is better than rubies, and all the things one may desire cannot be compared with her. that is Proverbs 8 vs 11. and God gave many pages of His word on wisdom especially in Proverbs. I find the answer to why does this produce a ripening crop of righteousness in Proverbs 2 vs 1-15. This crop grows in the upright, the followers of Christ those willing to listen to Him, to submit to God. Thanks be to God!
smithj7
Q4. (3:17-18) With what tool do peacemakers sow peace? Why does this produce a ripening crop of righteousness? In whom does this crop grow? 3:17But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere. 18Peacemakers who sow in peace raise a harvest of righteousness." One sows peace through the wisdom from heaven. It is in contrast with the wisdom that comes from the devil that is noted in James 3:15. The wisdom from heaven according to James is: Pure Peace loving Considerate Submissive Full of mercy and good fruit Impartial Sincere It can easily be contrasted with items identified as love in 1 Corinthians 13: Patient Kind Does not envy Does not boast Not proud Not rude Not self-seeking Not easily angered Keeps no record of wrongs Does not delight in evil Rejoices with the truth Always protects Always trusts Always hopes Always perseveres Never fails So in essence, the tool that one sows with is Love -- AGAPE love. Peacemakers who sow in peace have the "right spirit". They are directed by the spirit and therefore bear fruit. James wants peace for the church because peace is the context in which righteousness can grow and produce a harvest.
