I love learning about our Lord, and am looking forward to learning new insights with this bible study. It's refreshing to find a bible study emerging in the Word and not in rules of denominational understanding. I have one child, a son, he recently turned 18. I've been a christian sine 1979. I accepted the Lord as my Savior at summer camp. I have a strong faith in Christ but through the years it has been tried and tested. But still the Lord has always been by my side. I'm battling a heart element and I'm currently being evaluated for a heart transplant so therefore I'm disabled. I love reading and scrapbooking. But my passion is writing poetry. I been writing poetry on a variety of subjects but most my poems are about Christ. My most favorite book in the Bible is Psalms. My most favorite chapter in the Bible is Psalm 139. A stay at home mom of two toddler boys, ages 2 and 4. I am currently volunteering at Trinity Gospel Fellowship in Richland, MS as Director of Women's Ministries. I do not see myself as a leader or a public speaker, but God obviously does. I am so excited about this study. God spoke directly to me during worship on Sunday morning. He told me he wanted me to know him by name. Part of what He said was this, "I want you to know Me by name as I know you by name. Call Me by name and I will answer, call Me by name and I will hear. I live in Pueblo, CO near the beautiful Pikes Peak and Colorado Springs. My two sons are grown, one in the Army stationed in Kentucky and one in Nebraska with his wife and my three grandchildren. Life has been kind of crazy for me this past year since my husband passed away. Am looking forward to beginning this journey, meeting some new friends and growing closer to the Lord.
