KarenG Posted March 6, 2024 Report Posted March 6, 2024 Recognition of sin is the first step before an act of contrition and acceptance of the substitution provision from GOD. No sacrifice is needed because Jesus is the final and ultimate sacrifice. I feel I have downplayed sin at times due to the incredible grace I have re I and tend to forget the extent of the sacrifice GOD himself gave in allowing Jesus to suffer once for all.
