That is the goal that God had planned to do through Christ. We have been given all spiritual blessings through Jesus Christ and made God's children through Him that God loves. We are to give all praise and honor to God as that is His desire. In return, we are given grace & forgiveness of sins thru Jesus.

When the proper time comes----------- Christ will give back to God the Father that which belongs to Him, when everything is under Christ, that is

Every knee will bow & every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord!

1st Cor. is telling us what will happen in the order planned by God. ( Predestination)

God is over everything.

There is unity in Christ. Christ is what draws all things together under one head. It is thru Christ that this will happen. God is the Creator of all things, not just believers. So all thing in heaven and earth will be under one head. Every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess that he is Lord.

What is the significance that all things will ne brought under one head-Christ himself? How does this relate to the Creator? What does it say about unity?

We are all part of Christ and we cannot be without Him in our lives.Christ was the one that came to the earth to die for us with his blood,he made everything possible including salvation.God was the one that created us to be in His will and in his purpose. The reason for all the unity and the redemption is to be able to attain that goal of eternal life in Heaven.Like it says in the Bible,we are all part of the body of Christ and we are all in Him,we cannot act alone or be independent cause then we can not function as His children. God will always be in control and we have a seal of Jesus, which is the Holy Spirit.

Q2. (Ephesians 1:9-10) What is the significance that all things will be brought under one head -- Christ himself? How does this relate to the Creator? What does it say about unity? Extra Credit: How does this verse relate to 1 Corinthians 15:24-28?

God is no respector of persons, He plays no favorites. Those who have Christ in them will be in the kingdom. God planned this from the foundations of Earth. His plan of salvation was not made up as things went along in earth's history. That is why it is important to exhort and encourage and even rebuke (when neccessary) other Christians or non-believers...God wants us all there!

"All is all..." I love those 3 words in the new testament. The Father gave us to His Son and He gave us His Son...; John 10:27-30 says it all!

The significance of all things being brought under Christ refers to God being the creator of the world.

Christ is the head of the living church on earth. We are the family of believerss that called God father. The creator gave us his son to cleanse us of sin.

Unity exists when we serve the Lord, regardless of our denominations or other differences.

1. In the scheme of the creation of the world and humanity God desired that all human beings would be as vessels filled with the expression of God Himself upon the earth. Man given a free will by God failed the mission. All the earth and everything in it has become corrupt as a result. God in the Person of Christ came to earth ,lived and died that all things above, below and in the earth shall bow to the very name of jesus.

2. Christ is the Creator.

3.Since the word dispensation has to do with the arrangement of household affairs, after the summing up of all things (ie) created things all will come together under the loving control of Christ in heaven, all colors, creeds, nations including the angels. We will all be one in the household of God. Even those beings and angels separated from the children of God will be under His control. Gods' house will be in order.

4.My meager understanding is that after Christ supercedes in putting all things under Himself and the last thing will be to abolish death, He hands all things back to the Father that He may be all and in all. Christ thus completeing His work.

When all things are brought under Christ the King, all people will worship Him as one. We will be in complete agreement about who He is. Every knee shall bow and every tongue confess, that Jesus Christ is Lord. King of Kings, Lord of Lords. The Creator had this in mind all along. When He created the universe and all that is in it, He foreknew the end times and planned accordingly. Jesus would come at just the right time -- the first time and for His return -- to redeem the saints. Once He has created His Kingdom in Heaven, we will all be of one mind, of one accord, worshipping Him. Once I was at a conference at a large arena and all of the women present were singing and worshipping the Lord as if in one voice. I was brought to tears thinking that this was the closest I would ever get to what it will be like in Heaven when we're all praising and singing and worshipping together.

As for Corinthians, Christ will bring about the plan of creation: His Kingdom in Heaven. There will be no distractions for us, no temptations. He will destroy our enemies, our fears, our desires. We will have only one focus: God. He will be our everything, our all in all.

The significance of all things being under one head is that there is unity in the Church and God has order in what he does. Christ has been put over the Church by God. Christ is part of the Trinity and it has been decreed that He as Savior is also the supreme head of His Church, those that believe in Him.

Man was created by God. We see this in Gen 1 and 2. We also see in Gen 1 that the Spirit was with God and in John 1 that Christ was there also. The Creator is the Triune God, the order is that the Church is under the person of Jesus Christ.

Everything God does is in unity and that is what His purpose is for the Church.

As this relates to 1 Cor 15:24-28 is as follows:

God the Father has given God the Son the reconciliation mission to bring us back to Him. He has set up an orderly, united manner in which to do this. When all is complete, God the Son hands it over to God the Father when the mission is complete.

I relate that statement to the fact that Jesus is the head of the church, we are the parts of the body, but He is the head of us. We cannot perform our own work, we must be engaged with Him, and following His lead. He is our leader, we are the followers. He has the plan, we are to carry it out.

I believe it relates to the Creator, in the sense that God is head over all, but He has delegated certain apects of His great plan to His Son, and for now, this is how it is to be. But I totally believe God is fully in the loop, after all, Jesus only did what he saw his father doing.

Unity is what we should all be about, not confusion and strife. That just proves we are about ourselves, and following Jesus' lead, we are attempting to blaze our own trail.

I think 1 Corinthians is a wonderful passage, a gift to the body of Christ. God is so intentional, and gave us a clear definition of the order he has established. Jesus never considered himself equal with God, or tried to make anyone else think he was.

What is the significance that all things will be brought under one head -- Christ himself?

This is God's mystery. A plan which is revealed after Christ died. Christ is the universal way, the truth and the life. Everybody with any religion or faith, will eventually come to Him in the endtimes and become His subjects in His eternal blissful life if we just follow Him, His ways and all.

How does this relate to the Creator?

This was God's plan and will surely be fulfilled eventually. Christ's ways is God the father's or creator's ways, so anything or anybody coming together under Christ is like coming together under God Himself, considering Christ, after all, is God the Son.

What does it say about unity?

United under one rule and the right rule at that, under Christ - the God redeemer, God - the creator and God- the Spirit.

I have been taught that this is the ultimate purpose of Christ's ministry. It will be achieved by His Second Coming, the day of rapture that we all hope will come soon. To prepare for this the Gospel should be made available to everyone, everywhere in the world so that everyone can have the opportunity to hear the Word of God and be saved. God is patient in this but our efforts can bring it on. That is the purpose of the Great Commission: the Gospel must be preached everywhere. Ephesians 1:9-1 is in summary God's plan for mankind and all creation. It was there from the beginning, before creation. It brings everything under Jesus. There is one plan for all things; it unites everything. Since ultimately it is God's plan and everything is under God, it cannot diminish Him and His part in His divine plan. Jesus too is subject to Him as God is "all in all" and everything is under Him.

When all things are brought under one head -- Christ Himself; the world will once again be under the Lordship of the Creator. Once again, as it was in the beginning before sin, there will be unity among every living thing; as they all are submitted to the Lordship of Christ Himself.

How does this verse relate to 1 Corinthians 15:24-28?

When the last battle is won, Christ our Savior will present His Bride the Church to Father God under whose authority all things were put under Christ.

When the mystery of his will for the Kingdom is reveal and purpose of Christ being fullfill from the time of creation Just like it was in the garden Of Eden when there was only the the creator been the Lord an God and Adam like Christ had dominion over things of the earth. In the garden Of Eden there was oness unity everyone function according to the will Of God Adam and Eve was Subject to God .The creator had all powers, sin came and mess up the order Of God plan for the world and humanityIn the similar order Christ will be subject to the father in the fullness of time including everything in heaven and on earth. So in the begining so it will be in the ending They will be One Head no-more three in one or the trinty or God-head at work. They will be no more wars and figthing nation against and Kingdom against they will be one King and ONE kINGDOM REGIN ON EARTH, so it will be unify body of people serving the true and the living God.1 Corinthians 15:24-28 Relates direct to this truth Chirst just like Adam was commanded to take dominion and authority and power over all the things of the earth but he failed to fullfilled this order. So Christ will defeat Satan and his demons and stripn him of all his dominion, authority and power event death will be his last conquest also all the enemies of the cross will become under the Lordsip of Christ. Then Christ subject himself under the father of heaven. So all Dominion and authority and Power will be in hands of God the Father just like from the begining of creation :P

Means Jesus Christ is King. Relates to creator by God's purpose being fulfilled. Bringing all mankind together. Extra Credit: Showing that when God's purpose is fulfilled, Jesus will turn headship back to God, all will be united on a new earth and new heavens.

When everything is united together "in Christ", then purpose, direction, and focus bEcome united! Everything must recognize and bow to the soveriegnty of God the Father - even Christ the Son. It is only under His (Christ's) direction and "headship" that we learn how and are truly able to do this. With Christ as the Head of everything, He becomes the leader - following the "Director" (God the Father). As we then follow Christ's example, God's plan is completed perfectly, and we become perfectly complete.

I Cor. 15:24 - 28: At the end of time, Christ (because of His blood sacrifice) will have been given everything by the Father. He will have put an end to Satan's rule because His (Christ's) rightful authority will have been restored. When all evil, sin and death has been destroyed, Christ will be able to return all creation to God the Father - the rightful owner! And then, everything, including the Son, will bow in submission to the Lordship and Kingship of God the Father. Then there will be perfect peace and complete restoration in all creation! Praise God! And he has "LAVISHED" this on us because of HIS MERCY, GRACE, AND ABUNDANT LOVE - how awesome!!

God's mystery....once unknown to the people is now known....that the Gentiles are to be included in the family of God! Praise the Lord!

And it was through Christ's sacrifice that this "mystery" came to fruition. He died for every human being dead or alive or will be alive....but if there had not been more people...He would have died just for me...or you!

Because God purposed to reveal this mystery through Christ, it is fitting He is the head of the Family. All things happen by Christ, through Christ, and for Christ. He IS the Head!

Since Christ was with God at Creation...He is also the Creator.

1 Cor 15:24-28....When the end comes...the second coming of Jesus Christ...He will reign with his saints for 1000 years. This is the time when Satan is bound, but he has to be loosed for a short time to decieve the nations again. Then the final battle occurs, Hades and death and Satan are thrown into the lake of fire along with the unbelievers...where the anti-christ and false prophet already are. This is for keeps!

Then Christ will hand over the reins to God, not that He isn't as important as God...they are the same, as is the Holy Spirit. The three are God with different jobs, so to speak. The dominion, authority and power had belonged for that short time to Satan. But now God (Father, Son, Holy Spirit) is the Head...and we believers (both Jews and Gentiles) are enjoying our life eternal with Him in the new Jerusalem.

The significance to believers is that everything is with Christ. Salvation is for all who accepts it. It is freely given and the purpose is Christ. It relates to the creator in the Father, Son, and the Holy Ghost as one. The unity comes when we as believers are on one accord and one mind in Christ Jesus.

Reading both scriptures to me it is saying that everything will be in unity when Christ comes in the rapture for the church. He is subject to the Father and he will abolish the rule and authority that satan and death has over the earth, but God will be excluded because He is all and all. It will be established that God is soverign without any challenge.
