Guest Tabatha
Q1. (Ephesians 6:18) Why is prayer vital to spiritual warfare? What does it mean to "pray in the Spirit"?Prayer births supernatural boldness, unity, fruitfulness and fullness, prayer brings revlational insight that is necessary for victorious spiritual warfare. Prayer births blessings and victories. It is necessary to take authority in the spirtitual realm to impact the natural realm. When we pray in the Spirit we are praying in tongues, Seeing into the invisible ( discerning the spiritual issues and God's perspective ) is a key to victorious praying. The enemy does not understand when you pray in tongues as it is you and the Holy Spirit praying. Also pray for the understanding.
Commissioned
Q1. (Ephesians 6:18) Why is prayer vital to spiritual warfare? What does it mean to "pray in the Spirit"? Prayer is vital to spiritual warfare because as we pray to God who knows all things, we petition Him to fight that which is unknown to us but is working against us. When we pray in the Spirit the Spirit of God is in control and enables us to pray the Father's Will.
Stan
Q1. (Ephesians 6:18) Why is prayer vital to spiritual warfare? What does it mean to "pray in the Spirit"? It allows us to bring our struggles to God and ask for His guidance and mercy in dealing with them. masika
We see the life of Jesus Christ was full of Prayer although He was God. That is why the Desciples asked Him to show them how to Pray. He is our good example to follow in our Prayer life if we are to defeat the devil in this world. We are also to ask for The Holy Spirit to help us in our Prayer. He will quide us on how to Pray better.
JustJeff
Prayer is the essential weapon that the Lord has placed at our disposal when we war against the enemy of our souls. It is Adonai who is our sword, our shield, our buckler. He is the Captain of our salvation and the Mighty God of Armies. To Him belongs the battle and to us He gives the victory. It is Yahweh on whom we must call when attacked by the enemy whether it is the devil, the world and, yes, ourselves. Praying in the Spirit means bringing your spirit to the very throne room of God by cojoining yourself with His Holy Spirit, becoming one. When we cannot frame our words, the Spirit does so for us. It is simply surrendering your will to God.
charisbarak
Prayer is vital to spiritual warfare because we lack the power necessary on our own to not be defeated before our enemy. God's power alone defeats the foe. We need His leading every minute of our lives. Praying in the spirit simply means with the Spirit's guidance. The Holy Spirit even prays for us when we can't pray in some situations.
haar
Prayer is communicating to God. In a warfare situation, there is need to keep in touch with the Head quarters for support, guide, directives and logistics. This is essential for success and victory. Our source of Power is from God and thus we need to stay connected. To pray in the spirit means to pray in power of the holy spirit, to be led or be guided by the spirit. kiqstart
Q1. (Ephesians 6:18) Why is prayer vital to spiritual warfare? What does it mean to "pray in the Spirit"? Without prayer we would not have God there to intercede for us, we must pray so that he can help us. Praying in the spirit is to turn our prayer over to the Holy Spirit who will gives us words to pray
PCHRIS
I love this quote from Robert R Lawrence - "Let's move from theology to kneeology! Power for victory in spiritual warfare is found in prayer." Too many squabble over 'how and when to's', let's take the old Nike slogan and 'just do it'! 'Watch' was frequently the exhortation of Jesus Himself to His disciples and most significantly at the time when they needed to find strength by prayer. The Spirit is the atmosphere of the Christian's life, and as we live in the Spirit grace will be given to watch and power to continue to prayer. The Spirit is given as a Helper, and not least for the task of prayer. (Romans 8:26-27)
sis. dee
Q1. (Ephesians 6:18) Why is prayer vital to spiritual warfare? What does it mean to "pray in the Spirit"? With prayer and fasting this will help us in our battle in spiritual warfare, this is where we draw our strength and power. Praying in the Spirit is praying in your heavenly lanuague, when you know not what to pray the Spirit gives you utterance and pray through you. June
Prayer keeps our spirit man connected to God so if the forces of evil try to tear us down we will know whose works they are. linda bass
Why is prayer vital to spiritual warfare? We need to keep in touch with God at all times for guidance, directions, and support. What doesit mean to "pray in the spirit"? It means praying in tongues or one's spirit language. Sometimes it's hard to know how to pray for something or for a situation. By praying in tongues, the Holy Spirit acts as our interpretor, and makes our request known to God.
BJB123
Prayer is very vital in Spiritual Warefare because we need the help of our Heavenly Father when we are in a battle with the devil. The Father gives us the strength and power to stand our ground against the enemy. Praying in the spirit is praying our heavenly launguage (tongues) when we do not know words to pray. The Holy Spirit interrupts the message and delivers it the Father. Praying in the spirit is like having a direct pipeline to our Heavenly Father. godsanointed523
Why is prayer vital to the spirtual warfare? What does it mean to pray in the Spirit? Prayer is important because we need the help and the guidance of the Father in order to battle against the enemy of our lives. Prayer is our constant communication and lifeline to the Lord so He can be with us in all that we are fighting against the enemy. To pray in the Spirit is to be able to let the Spirit guide us during everything and in our battles.
Eudora
The Spirit of the Lord can lead you, as Jesus was led into the wilderness. The Spirit of The Lord can pray for you, as what happened on the day of Pentecost. See Acts 2:4 the word utterance in Greek is: apophtheggomai, ap-of-theng'-om-ahee : (to enunciate plainly, i.e. declare:--say, speak forth, utterance.) The Spirit of The Lord can open revelation of The Word of God through scripture. The Spirit of The Lord, can also pick you up off of your feet and move you to a different location, just like what happened to St. John in Revelations 21:10. The Spirit of God is the Spirit of the Holy God, which is Holy and can not speak for it
Jewell
It is communication with God. It keeps us close to him. It opens the pathway for instruction from Him. Praying in the Spirit is with the Spirit's guidance.

Michelle G
Q1. (Ephesians 6:18) Why is prayer vital to spiritual warfare? Praying is vital because he brings us closer to God. God is an all knowing God, he sees and knows all things. I find for me prayer activates the inner spirit in me and keeps me focused on Gods Will. I'm able to accomplish and endure all things when I stay constant in him. What does it mean to "pray in the Spirit"? To pray in the "Spirit" means to pray always. Our prayer life shpuld become so consistent and so habitual that it is apart of us.
Marloes
The Spirit helps us to pray. We need to pray so the Spirit continues controlling our mind. If we don't pray, Satan has more change to come in and take over control.
JanMary
Q1. (Ephesians 6:18) Why is prayer vital to spiritual warfare? Prayer is one of our powerful weapons, and if we don't use it, our enemy in this warfare gains ground and keeps us in bondage. We have been promised ultimate victory, but to be passive and to try to ignore the battle will keep us in a weakened condition. We war not with flesh and blood, but with powers and principalities in the spiritual realm....we need the wisdom and power of the Holy Spirit to pull down those strongholds which oppose God and oppose us, His children. Victory is won in the spiritual realm before it manifests in the natural realm here on earth. What does it mean to "pray in the Spirit"? It means to pray in the guidance of the Holy Spirit, but I believe that includes praying in tongues if you have that gift. Often, when I've done that, needed wisdom, insight or strength comes afterward.
hanks
Q1. (Ephesians 6:18) Why is prayer vital to spiritual warfare? What does it mean to "pray in the Spirit"? Since our struggle is with spiritual forces, forces we are powerless against, we need God to help us. We are therefore to earnestly pray. Our prayer should be persistent and not an isolated prayer done now and then. We are to use all kinds of prayer: supplication and intercession; confession and humiliation; praise and thanksgiving. These can be done in public or in the quiet of our home. Our prayer should be in the Spirit, in other words inspired and led by the Holy Spirit. It has been said, "Satan trembles when he sees the weakest saint upon his knees."
Sasquatch
Q1. (Ephesians 6:18) Why is prayer vital to spiritual warfare? We are in a spiritual struggle daily "not against glesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms". If we are praying "in the Spirit" we are drawing on the power of the Holy Spirit to help us. If we are praying and constantly praying, Satan and the principalities and evil forces of the heavenly realms cannot get a foothold. What does it mean to "pray in the Spirit"? It means to pray guided by or inspired by or empowered by the Holy Spirit. Paul indicates in the scripture that even to pray effectively, we need God's help!
