Annelle
How should we disciples apply the principles: "You are not your own, you were bought with a price"? How should this affect our living? We should live like we are accountable to God. We belong to Him and He paid the high price so we can be free from the world. We should therefore live the way He requires of us. Old Jerry
The way that we should apply the principle “You are not your own, you were bought with a price” is to obey Jesus’ commands. We are His and we should be recognized it as being His. So the way that this should affect our living is that we are committed to Jesus and are following Him. elaineer
To think that God gave up His only son for our sins, make me want to Honor Him more. It is difficult not to sin as we live in a fallen world, but God knows our weaknesses and that is why he sets us free through Christ.
DawnMc13
Since we were purchased at a high price we now belong to God’s family. Therefore, because we love Him wholly we seek to live a life that brings Him honor and praise. We are now part of His family. Now our lives sole purpose is to bring others into the family by sharing the gospel with them, out of love and concern for them.
Paul Irving
On 2/22/2003 at 11:00 PM, Pastor Ralph said: Q3. (1 Corinthians 6:19-20) How should we disciples apply the principles: "You are not your own, you were bought with a price"? How should this affect our living? We are God’s children bought with the price of the sacrifice of His Son Jesus Christ. God loves us so much that He sent His only begotten Son that through Him the world might be saved, God didn’t send His Son to condemn the world but to save it and that’s what Jesus Christ did. We should always have in mind that Jesus Christ died for our sins and always be grateful for that, and try to live a Christian life. Do the commandments, live peacefully with one another, most of all submit yourself to God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost. crissy464
“You were bought with a price,” he meant that believers were purchased and paid for with the sinless, spotless perfection of Jesus Christ’s blood. Jesus Himself said that He came to give His life as a ransom for us . Since we were obtained at such a tremendous expense, we are to use our bodies to honor God with good deeds: “For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago”
steveamooti
Christ shed His blood so that I would no longer live according to what the world thinks is a great life (comfortably rich, other people serving me (for my money), belonging to high-flying clubs, etc. But then I would be missing the truly great life with God. So Jesus, the Son of God paid for my sin (the price was His blood) so that I could be reconciled to God. And now I am yoked to Christ (Mathew 11:29) and therefore need to live according to how He lived on earth (pleasing His God, loving people, and doing acts of mercy, among others). The Holy Spirit is in me to teach me how to grow in this direction.

Approaches to coach on charismatic gifts Discovering your inner strengths can be a transformative journey. Spiritual gifts are personalized traits given upon individuals, usually thought to achieve a divine plan. These gifts guide you in recognizing your role in the world and how you can benefit others positively. To begin, reflect on the activities that provide you joy. Do you feel a inherent pull toward teaching, restoring, or encouraging others? These could be signs of divine talents like leadership, kindness, or understanding. Tools like spiritual gift assessments or self-assessments can also assist in pinpointing these gifts. For example, an individual with the gift of perception may easily understand when something feels good or off. Recognizing your divine talents empowers you to exist truly and align with your higher calling. It not only elevates your existence but also helps you to help others effectively, starting a chain reaction of positivity.
