The Hebrews turned away from God and His covenant to follow other gods. They were unfaithful.

We will be forgiven. God will cleanse us from inside out. We will know God intimately and be taught by Him personally. He is the one who will make us right inside and out.

The old covenant failed because of our sinful nature it was impossible for us to keep it. 

 

What are the primary promises of the New Covenant as prophesied in Jeremiah 31:31-34?

The primary promises of the New Covenant are per Jeremiah 31:31-34 are as follows- God will put his law in their minds and write it on their hearts. I will be their God and they will be my people. No longer will they teach their neighbor or say know the LORD because we will all know him. From the least to the greatest God will forgive their wickedness and remember their sins no more.
