The meaning of redemption is proclaiming the forgiveness for past sins and escape from eternal damnation.

The sacrificial price was Jesus who died on the cross shedding his blood for our salvation.

Once a person is redeem and forgiven for their sins he can have this confidence that his salvation is sealed by God. A person redemption is sealed by the blood of Jesus who die on the cross and paid in full that sacrificial price. Titus 1:2 states, In hope of eternal life which God that cannot lie promise before the world began. Ephesians 1!3 In whom ye also trusted after that ye heard the world of truth the gospel of your salvation in whom also after that ye believed ye were sealed with the HOLY SPIRIT of promise. 2 Corinthians 1:22 Who hath also sealed us and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts.

Redemption means to be repurchased or bought back with a price.

We were redeemed from being slaves to sin and the fear of death. We were also released from the penalty of sin which is death.

The price for our redemtion was the death of the ONE who was sinless and perfect by His blood; our sacrifice, Jesus.

Our redemption is eternally and forever!

REDEMPTION - to be ransomed, released, set free from something. . . The price paid for our redemption was the shed blood and life of Jesus. . . For us - humanity as a whole - we were ransomed from sin - Hebrews 9:22 (NLT)

22 In fact, according to the law of Moses, nearly everything was purified with blood. For without the shedding of blood, there is no forgiveness.

We are redeemed from spiritual death (sin) and all those things that are associated with sin - sickness and disease - and poverty. . .

Our demption is an eternal redemption - it last forever. . .

Redemption means to buy/purchase back. Jesus paid the price for our sins with his shed blood and his death on the cross. Jesus redeemed me with his blood for the penalty (death) for my sin. The price of redemption is all the suffering, persecution, shed blood, humiliation, and the tortuous death on the cross that Jesus endured for me.

My redeemption lasts for eternity.

Q5. (Hebrews 9:11-12) What does "redemption" mean? What were we redeemed from? What was the price of our redemption? How long does our redemption last?

Redemption means that something is released, freed from slavery or sin by the price paid by someone else.

By the blood of Christ we are redeemed from the sins in our life, we are freed from the death that sin brings. Freedom has come freely from God by the willful suffering and death Jesus had endured on the cross for our transgressions.

This redemption that the Lord offers freely is for ever and ever. Being human we believers in Christ try to live a holy life, but we are still going to sin, through sincere repentance and humbling ourselves, the Lord continually sanctifies us until we reach the final glory in heaven.

Being saved from sin and evil, being born again in the spirit.  We were redeemed from evil by Jesus’ perfect sacrifice on the cross, He defeated the devil by doing this unselfish act.  I don’t think the devil thought Jesus Christ would die for us but it was really the work of the devil that Jesus Christ was crucified.  Before Jesus Christ was crucified He said “the prince of this world comes and has nothing in me”.  Our redemption lasts for eternity if we abide in God’s commandments and love Him, confessing our sins.

Q5. (Hebrews 9:11-12) What does "redemption" mean? What were we redeemed from? What was the price of our redemption? How long does our redemption last?

Redemption means to buy back or purchase back. We were redeemed from the kingdom of darkness and placed into the kingdom of His Sonship which has light and love. The price of our redemption was the Lord's life and blood. It is eternal and we must be willing to count the cost for following Him.

Pay the price for something. Exchange payment for a product.

The punishment for our sins.

Christ had to die and be separated from God. As He became sin, prior to the resurrection.

Eternity.
