He was willing to die so that all who will receive Him as personal Savior may go to Heaven. That makes Him worthy to open the scroll in Heaven. Quote

The Lamb of God was slain, and is now alive. His blood has redeemed people from every tribe, tongue and nation, to serve God. He makes us a kingdom and a priesthood to God. The second Man, Jesus, who was perfect and sinless, sacrificed Himself on the cross of Calvary to purchase men/women with His blood unto God from every tribe, language, people and nations, from their fallen state. His triumph gave Him the authority to open the scroll with its' seven seals, because He has the power to execute what is written there. Quote
