JoanG
When we live according to the Spirit, we are showing our respect for God, Jesus and others. We hold all life in high reguard. We speak with honesty and love at all times. We curb our use of profanity and anger. We do not use hateful messages to others. We honor the fact that God is above all things. We approach Him in prayer and in total awe of His greatness. We are acknowledging the fact that we are not really worthy to use His name. Old Jerry
The way that we live and our words “hallows’ the name of Father when we are doing the things that He wants us to be doing. We don’t use the Father’s name in vain when we get excited or when we cuss. We should “hallows” the name of the Father when we begin to pray by being respectful to Him when we talk to Him. He is the one that is in control of the universe.

What desecrates and besmirches it? How should we "hallow" the Father when we begin to pray? We should I've our lives given respect to the Father. Taking God's name in vein or in a cruse. Irmela
1.1What about our lives and words "hallows" the Name of our Father. Our attitude as we approach God our Father with familiarity, as our Dad, and yet at the same time with respect and honour. 1.2 What desecrates and besmirches it? The using of His Name in vain (swearing and cursing) desecrates and besmirches it. 1.3 How should we "hallow" the Father when we begin to pray? We should show Him respect and honour due to Him. Approach Him as our Daddy, the One Who cares for us, Who loves us, Who disciplines us, Who has authority over us, Who blesses us.
Lisa Wolf
Q1. (Matthew 6:9) What about our lives and words "hallows" the name of our Father? What desecrates and besmirches it? How should we "hallow" the Father when we begin to pray? Hallow=Holy My life and words keep HOLY the name of my Father when I am aware of His Presence and give honor to Him in both words and actions. I desecrate and besmirch that holiness when I make an unkind remark toward anyone at any time. To keep His Name truly Holy, I should repent of all sin before I officially enter His Presence. I know in my mind He is always present, but sometimes my life and words do not live like I know that. God is Light and in Him is no darkness at all. 1John 1:
