garymerkel
Our position in Christ is secure and by His Spirit, as He empowers us to do His will, His purposes will be accomplished. Being seated WITH Him means relationship. He is our King but also our dearest Friend. We are part of His royal priesthood, His ambassadors, part of His holy nation as described in I Peter. As we preach and teach His Word, it comes with His authority. As we pray according to His will and in His name, it comes with His position as the One Who ever intercedes for us. Being seated with Him means I have an eternal inheritance because of our relationship.
JoanG
with Paul's statement that we were raised up with Christ and sit with Him next to God. We were given the power to rule over the spirits in the heavenly realms and below. We no longer have to bow down to them, they are to bow down to us. The Ephesians have had all of their fears alleviated by this simple message. They now have the ability to overcome all of their yths about the strength of the other realms. WinstonY
(Ephesians 2:6) From the standpoint of power, what is the significance of Paul's statement that "God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus...."? Think of that awesome incomparable power that God unleashed to raise Jesus from the dead and sit him at the right hand of God with authority and power. We must know then and recognize, as the notes say " For you battle against the spiritual forces of evil (6:12) not from a position of weakness, but of strength. Not from a place of inferiority, but of superiority. Yes, it is all by grace. But it is true and it is real." Glory to God in the highest for His incomparable power. Thomas Glover
The power to raise someone from the dead is the ultimate power over life and death. Paul is saying we are participants in that same power. WE - US!
Eduvigis Antonio Nerio Lop
If Christ has seat us at his side, that means we also have authority in the spiritual hierarchy, the Bible teach us that all demons and evil spirits are under Jesus feet and if we have seat at the side of Jesus we also can defeat daemons and spiritual evil under our feat. Glory to our God the father and Jesus who has allowed us to seat at his side. My lord we don’t deserve it but by your grace you have bless us!!! Siphoñ
Paul was telling them that since they have repented and have faith by grace. In the past they were spitually dead because of theirdisobedience and sins, but now by the grace of God they have been saved through faith and being baptised in the name of Jesus.By their union with Christ Jesus he raised them with him in the heavenly world.
