Liza
The Jews were the only nation that had continuous revelation from the Living God. They we the ones who had a relationship with their Maker. Now Gentiles too, could have the same relationship. This meant that they too were set apart, holy to serve God, a royal priesthood and citizens of God
Gurdian
Hi everyone, Q2. (Ephesians 2:19a) If we are fellow-citizens with the Jewish believers, what are we citizens of? We are citizens of the kingdom of God In what sense are we "holy" or "saints"? In the sense that we are separated for God and we do not form part of this world, so our laws come from our King. Him we obey before man May the Lord bless you always, Raul Gurdian

MsKathy51
We are children of God instructed to carry his words through out the lands, therefor we are citizens of God's Kingdom. Derek
We are fellow citizens of the Kingdom of God, of sthe household of saints and we are saints because we are holy or separated unto God. Willa
We who were without hope, have been secured from a fate worst thatn death and raised to a new life that is eternal. We have been given a place around the heavenly table with all the saints and in the company of the angels. In the old testament, only the Jews had this hope, but we are now grafted into that family. We are to walk in this new life striving to become holy as our God is holy.

charliet
2.(Ephesians 2:19a) If we are fellow citizens with the Jewish believers, what are we citizens of?In what sense are we "holy"or "saints"? 2a We are citizens of Gods household. 2b In the sense that we are no longer foreigners and aleins, but fellow citizens with Gods people and members of Gods household. Previously the Jews only had the status of Gods holy people,Now its granted to Gentile believers as well. I like Pauls analogy of the Olive tree into which the Gentile Christains are grafted in(Romans 11:16-21) and reminds the gentiles that the tree is Israel. Helen
We are fellow citizens and members of the family (household) of God. We are "holy" and "Saints" because we have received Jesus, accepted the Blood covenant, and are "sealed with the Spirit" - seen by God as holy. MyBeloved
When we receive Jesus Christ as our personal Savior we are no longer aliens but now fellow citizens of Heaven. We are members of GOD's family, not servants, but His children. When Paul says that we are "holy" he is saying that we are set apart for GOD's use. We should walk in obedience and fellowship with Him.

countrygirl
When we accepted Jesus we became citizens of the kingdom of God. We are holy because of what Was done for us on Calvary and our decision to follow Jesus. His words are , Be ye holy because I am holy and without holiness no one will see God. Holiness should be a lifestyle which affects our words, actions and evrything about us.
s8nfighter
What are we citizens of? We are citizens of a relationship with God. And if we have a relationship with God, how can we not have a relationship with others? I was at a house that was being remodeled yesterday where there was little or no relationship between the work crew, the builder and the owner. Because of this lack of relationship the new floor did not meet the old floor, the building was a bit out of square, doors were not framed to the right size, and because the truss system was not installed properly the rain poured in through the joint between the old and new. Let's put it this way; it was a mess. I was there to give the owner an estimate on doing the dry-wall finish work. Because of the condition the new construction it will either cost him more than he can afford or he will have to settle for less than what he expected. If God is the owner of the church that Christ is building where does that leave us in this picture. That leaves us in the position of the worker. Does that mean we can go off and work without paying attention to detail or without consulting the builder? Jesus tells us that He is in constant touch with the owner and does exactly what the owner wants and therefore we should be in constant contact with Him. When it is all finished, some one will say to God, "Wow! That is a nice house you have. Who built it?" And He will reply, "My Son."

Lion of Grace
In Old Testament times, God dedicated Israel as His people. To be "holy" was to be a member of a covenant community that would belong to God even regardless of their faith and obedience. The priests offered sacrifices as an atonement for the sins of the people and God honored His covenant with them. In New Testament time, "Holy" means man being set apart and devoted to God. We share in the covenant calling and yet, when we become "saints" in the Kingdom of God, we become a royal priesthood and a Holy Temple ourselves. We experience fellowship with God in His holiness. We are often called upon to live up to divine demands on our lives. This is called sanctification. We are
steve.c
If we are fellow-citizens with the Jewish believers, what are we citizens of? In what sense are we "holy" or "saints"? As fellow-citizens we become part of God's holy people. part of God's promise to mankind united under Jesus. We are holy in that we are all united in Jesus' church with those who have dedicated their lives to him. We are all part of His body. emmythanks
Q2. (Ephesians 2:19a) If we are fellow-citizens with the Jewish believers, what are we citizens of? In what sense are we "holy" or "saints"? Exposition We actually become members of God's very own family, citizens of God's country, and you belong in God's household with every other Christian we are no longer strangers to God and foreigners to heaven. The title of hagios, ie. being dedicated or consecrated to the service of God was once exculsively for the Jew alone but now it has also being granted to the gentile believers as well. We have being set apart, consecrated by & for God alone. SHALOM Emeka.
