Old Jerry
The seven elements that unite all Christians are one body, one Spirit, one hope, one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God the Father of all. The one that is most compelling to me is the one hope. Without hope we would be wandering through this earth with nothing to look forward to. The one Spirit is also compelling because that means we are all united under God and that we can count on each other.
JoanG
One body, one spirit, one hope, one Lord, one faith, one baptism and one God and Father for all of us. Right now, I feel that we need to remember that we are from One Spirit and one God and Father. There are no differences between us. We need to form a unity within our congregation in order for us to survive this close to lawless society. We need to turn from bickering to love and understanding. We need to remember that we need to trust in God and that we can and will be able to turn things around for us.
WinstonY
Q4. (Ephesians 4:4-6) What are the seven elements that unite all Christians mentioned in verses 4 through 6? Which one or two are most compelling to you? Why The seven elements Paul mentions for unity are one body, one hope, one baptism, one Spirit, one Lord , one faith and one God and father of us all. Paul is very strong on unity. This is possibility a carry over from Judaism recalling Deut. 6.4 : the Lord. our God is one." Paul lists these seven elements but perhaps the most important is one faith .. This is followed closely by one God and one Father of all. Churches all have the same faith in Christ and this faith is embedded in the one God and father of us all.
